Beaches vs. Mountains
What would best fit your personality?
The conundrum of mountain versus beach has long been a question featured on personality tests, and for good reason! Research proves that personality has a big effect on where a vacationer would be most content. If a person wants to spend their vacation socializing (whether with their own extended family or traveling partners, or by meeting new people in a new place) then a beach vacation may be the better choice for them. When asked if they would like to spend their their vacation socializing, seventy-five percent of voters stated they would prefer to do so in a beach setting. Researchers also asked whether voters would prefer to spend time alone during their vacations. Surprisingly, of the people who responded positively to that query, fifty-two percent responded that they would rather go solo at the beach and forty eight percent preferred the solitude of the mountains. This shows that although extroverts prefer the sunny open expanses of a beach, introverts can find quiet solitude in both coastal and mountainous locales.
